Florsheim Shoe Company Building

The Florsheim Shoe Company Building is a former shoe factory at 3963 West Belmont Avenue in the Avondale community area of Chicago, Illinois. Constructed from 1924 to 1926 for the Florsheim Shoe Company and designed by Alfred S. Alschuler, the six-story reinforced-concrete building is an example of early-20th-century industrial architecture. It was converted into condominiums and rental apartments in 2005 as the Shoemaker Lofts.
