Hotel Windermere

Since 1892

Hotel Windermere was a hotel in the Hyde Park community area of Chicago, Illinois, United States. The hotel was located at 56th Street and Cornell Avenue, and was built in 1892 for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. In 1924, it was rebuilt with a West and East hotel under Rapp and Rapp, who also built the Chicago Theatre and the Tivoli Theatre.
